
My name is Tim Hurley and I have been a loan officer for a little over 4 years. In that time, I have always been drawn to the more difficult loans and the credit challenged borrower so I just decided to specialize in them.
While working for another company, I was asked to do market research on the possibility of combining credit repair and mortgages. While my research showed that it was extremely labor intensive to do at a company level, the research itself proved to be extremely fruitful. The research provided me with a wealth of information about credit that helped me convert more borrowers into home owners.
I have always been the kind of person that shares his favorite fishing spots so I created creditinformant.com as a way of sharing my knowledge and providing a place to get up to date information on credit education.As you can see from the picture above, that is my beautiful sweetie Jennifer who also happens to be my processor. She has over three years experience as a loan processor at a high volume bank. In other words, she is a GREAT processor.
The rest of the family is rounded out with our neurotic Yellow Lab Dacotah and our African Grey Parrot named Marley. Dacotah is seven years old but has managed to scare herself into some early grey hair but we love her just the same!
Marley was adopted this February from the The Gabriel Foundation. They are a FABULOUS Exotic Bird Rescue Organization and Education Center. If you are even THINKING of getting an exotic bird, please talk to them first. Their primary concern is educating bird owners so that fewer birds are returned to rescues. I can speak from experience: Adopting a bird from them can be one of the most rewarding experiences in your life.
I close all my loans through Clarion Mortgage Capital here in Denver, CO. They offer us the opportunity to use 386 lenders (and counting) AND to allow us to close loans in Clarion's name. What this means for the borrower is a much better rate than normal mortgage brokers. The rate can be as much as 3/8ths of a point LOWER than everybody else. In addition to that, we also get better rates due to the sheer volume of mortgages Clarion closes on a monthly basis. This translates into better rates for you and happier customers for me.
